Preferred Vendors List – A Wedding Resource

Below, I have a list of Preferred Vendors that I’ve had the pleasure of working with, witnessing their stellar work and commitment to their craft.  If you’re just starting out in the wedding planning process or on the hunt for that last perfect vendor, I recommend browsing these vendors and getting a feel for their work and style.  It might not be a perfect match for the style that you want, but at the very least, assure you that they’re good at their jobs and pleasant to be around.

Becca Iverson of Blush Celebrations (Snohomish, WA)
Wedding and Event Coordinator

425-260-9443    /    website:

“Bec” of Blush Celebrations is also a friend in the industry that I’ve had the pleasure of working with in the past.  Bec is an exuberant, fun and free-spirited wedding planner that can help you have the exact wedding that you want.  There’s a lot of people that try and “work around” hiring a wedding planner and I’ve seen how weddings go with and without them.  I can attest to the fact that hiring someone like Bec to ensure every aspect of your wedding day goes off without a hitch – it’s worth it.  She has loads of experience in the industry as well as that detail-oriented drive that everyone needs to ensure a fun, care-free and relaxed wedding day.

PJ Parsons Presents (Snohomish, WA)
Wedding DJ and MC

425-772-9967    /    website:

Besides simply being a rockstar of a person and a very dear friend, PJ has decades of experience in the entertainment industry; most of that being specifically in the wedding industry itself.  If you want to have a fun and relaxed wedding for your guests and, most importantly, yourself?  Take a second to reach out to her and meet up with her, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.  She’s friendly and experienced and she’ll help facilitate your day with a classy, yet fun and engaging touch that will help make it a day to remember for all.  Oh!  Tell her I said hi ;)

Salon Della Duchess (Everett, WA)
Hair & Makeup

425-387-6757    /    website:

I first worked with Salon Della Duchess back in early 2013 at a wedding in Seattle.  I was the lead photographer on the job and was capturing some “getting ready” pictures of the bride and her bridesmaids and noticed the amazing work that Bonnie and Aimee were doing with all of the hair and makeup!  As I was taking pictures I watched it all come together – they’re friendly and have a flawless attention to detail.  Check out their site and see the work for yourself, don’t forgot to swing by and look over their many testimonials of happy clients.

Swans Trail Farms (Snohomish, WA)
Wedding Venues

425-330-3084    /    website:

I’ve had the sincere pleasure of knowing the Krause family for many years and have been fortunate to spend a lot of time on this beautiful farm located right off of the river in the Snohomish Valley.  The Krause family is very accommodating and always go above and beyond to make your wedding day absolutely perfect and you will not be disappointed with the scenery and amenities that come with this venue.  I’ve also worked with them in the past to provide family portraits during their famous Pumpkin Patch during the month of October, so make sure to swing by in the fall and say “Hi!”.

Woodland Meadow Farms & Dairyland (Snohomish, WA)
Wedding Venues

425-367-8827    /    website:

The location for these two venues are tucked just outside of the town of Snohomish and are spacious and beautiful.  The owners of the venues, Amee & John are personable and friendly and want nothing more than to provide a fun and welcoming environment for all of your loved ones on your big day.  The amenities are all there and you’ll find everything you need, but the beauty of the venue is the simple and natural surroundings found in and around both Woodland Meadow Farms and Dairyland; you’ll fall in love with the scenery, the fresh air and the lovely couple that make it tick.

The Cakewalk Shop (Everett, WA)
Wedding Cakes & Desserts

425-770-1128    /    website:

Seriously?  One look at the cakes that Tamara & Johanna create and you’ll understand – they’re flawless and just amazing and beautiful.  Their ability to craft a timeless and elegant cake with their knowledge and mastery of the aesthetics puts their cakes into a whole other category, in my honest opinion.  If you ever get a chance to see one up close, I highly recommend taking a moment to stop and look at it for a few minutes; simply stunning!

Hook & Ladder BBQ (Monroe, WA)

425-238-3202    /    website:

I would like to start this by saying I am a huge fan of BBQ.  I first had Hook & Ladder BBQ at a Snohomish Wedding Guild (Yes, I am a member) meeting a few months back and was blown away by the food.  I wouldn’t say I’m ready to start judging BBQ contests by any means, but I feel like I do know truly good BBQ when I do come across it, and Hook & Ladder is amongst the best I’ve had.  I met Jeff a few weeks after and made a point to shake his hand and say hi and he was a real friendly and laid back guy, I could tell right away that he got into this whole thing because he just loves what he does and wants to share it with more people.  Without carrying on too long, I just recommend taking a peak at their items and reaching out to Jeff and the folks at Hook & Ladder if you want a spread of delicious food that will put the guests at your event right at home.
