IMPORTANT DETAILS:

This will be our first year offering these mini sessions! Join us for YEAR ONE! We will have a chat before your session, but it's up to you - we can focus more on posed images or on fun, genuine candid images of the family picking - OR BOTH! This is guaranteed going to be a fun day!

No admission necessary at Swans Trail Farms for berries, these will simply be rung up per pound - baskets provided. Admission is for rides and activities for kids, including: wagon rides, 40 foot tube slides, jumping pillow, tractor pull, and zip lines! Strawberry shortcake & strawberry lemonade available! There will be a rotating food truck too!
Sessions are meant for individual families / small groups. Please call ahead for exceptions. $50 will be added for any groups over 8 or more people

Enjoy the shoot! This is a shoot for the whole family to really enjoy themselves and I will capture the rest. We will have plenty of time for a few posed family shots & shots of the kids but we will also be offering plenty of candid opportunities too.

It takes time to edit your images. Our average wait time for a session is 2 weeks and then we'll email them over to you in a gallery! Easy!

1 FAQ:

WHERE DO WE PARK?

There is plenty of parking at Swans Trail Farms, but it's still recommended you arrive 30 minutes early just to ensure you have time to park and get the crew prepared for the session.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

Light and airy clothing that would seem appropriate for berry picking. Patterns should be used sparingly as too many differing patterns can 'busy' an image up and patterns also tend to date an image more as patterns are constantly changing. I would have no more than 1-2 patterns and then build around it with neutral colors (white, gray & black) and solid colors. I'd also try and stick to just "warm" color or just "cool" colors on the spectrum. So greens, blues and purples OR reds, oranges and yellows.

CAN WE HAVE DOGS OR OTHER PETS?

Unfortunately, no. Swans Trail Farms has a strict no animal policy unless it is a service animal with proper documentation. I LOVE animals and love dogs and allow them at my holiday mini sessions and Santa mini session, but I have to work with the venue I'm at and their policies.

DO WE GET MULTIPLE POSES?

It's up to you how you'd like to do this session. We can focus primarily on posed images or we can focus on all candid images of the kids and family picking berries. We can have a discussion leading up to the shoot and chat about what you'd like your session to look like.

HAVE YOU WORKED WITH KIDS BEFORE?

Oh yeah! I'm one of the few full time photographers in the region. I've been a full time photographer for 10 years no and in that time frame I have photographed over 3,000 families. I specialize in mini sessions, so I am no stranger to having to work with children and draw out their smiles and laughter in short amounts of time. ARE YOU STILL OFFERING PRINTS?

We are! You can order prints on top of your Digital Package the day of your shoot OR you can order prints straight from you gallery once you receive your gallery. We do not print on-site anymore, but the print lab we use now is of a much higher quality than we were able to do while printing on the farm. Oh! Also! You get to pick your prints and they ship straight to your home! You also get permission to print when & where you'd like so you can take your digital files anywhere you'd like to print.

CAN WE SIGN UP FOR MULTIPLE SLOTS IF WE WANT MORE TIME?

Definitely! If you get a second slot you won't just get twice the edited images, I'll also work with you to get more poses and a wider array of images for you to love!
